In early August 2019, UDrive will begin its migration to Enterprise Active Directory (EAD).

On August 17, UDrive’s DNS name will change from “udrive.win.psu.edu to udrive.ad.psu.edu. In most cases, this change will be seamless and there is no action needed. This change will not affect users who login to UDrive at a lab or classroom computer or access remotely using WebFiles.

Advanced users who may have accessed UDrive remotely by manually mapping it will need to change “udrive.win.psu.edu” to udrive.ad.psu.edu and use EAD credentials (PSU\userid); the DCE realm, userid@dce.psu.edu, is no longer supported on UDrive.

With the migration to EAD, MapPsuSpace, a desktop application for mapping UDrive and PASS, will no longer be supported. It is recommended that WebFiles is used instead to remotely access UDrive.
